How to Write a Short Horror Story: A Comprehensive Guide to Turning Nightmares Into Narratives by Patrick Méndez
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Helpful.
I wasn’t sure if I would issue this a four or five-star rating at first. What helped me make my decision were the highlights that I made as I read through this book. I didn’t read it as fast as the mystery one that Patrick Méndez made, but it is good enough that I finished it. The book’s length is excellent, which helped propel me to finish this book.
I recommend it for fiction authors who currently pen horror stories or those who are interested in writing one. Writing a short horror story is a different beast because you’re limited by how many words you can use. But whether you intend to write a horror short story or not, this book is still beneficial.
